Heavily inspired by Tolkien and Pratchett, just a good old fantasy adventure with all the trimmings of mishaps and mayhem. Whilst I want to engage my readers with a great story I have to admit I want to make them laugh as well. There is a song in the book called 'Gods bless the Generals Daughter', if this doesn't make you at least giggle you are probably clinically dead.
