The Nightmare if Far From Over

Rogan Sneed rots in prison for the massacre he unleashed on Portland's Pioneer Square. The copycat is dead. The city's wounds have healed. But then a teenage girl vanishes without a trace, her diary hinting at a third conspirator in the heinous attack that claimed 21 lives.

Portland police veteran Wayne Deetz should be coasting toward retirement. Instead, he's careening into a harrowing underworld, the likes of which he’s never encountered before. A local plumber emerges as a person of interest in the girl's disappearance, but Deetz believes a far more sinister force is lurking in the shadows.

Still struggling to tame the demons of his anxiety, Deetz is out of time and up against an evil that hits disturbingly close to home. He races to connect the dots before the next strike triggers catastrophic carnage.

From the blood-stained streets of Pioneer Square to the murkiest depths of the American underworld, join Deetz's pulse-pounding quest to stop a mastermind intent on finishing what was started and delivering a city to its knees.

Reader Praise for Let My Daughter Go

★★★★★ WOW! I read this book in 3 hours! I could not put it down . . . I was delighted to see that the third in the series, I Pick You, is releasing tomorrow, and I have already pre-ordered it! Definitely adding Creston Mapes to my favorite authors list.

★★★★★ This is a riveting story that had my heart pounding & on the edge of my seat, turning page after page. I had a hard time finding a good stopping point so didn't do that much until I reached the end. This can be read as a stand-alone but it does reference the event from book 1 so reading the series from the start might make the series more enjoyable. Now I am anxious to read book 3.

★★★★★ I was on the edge of my seat reading this book. An older policeman hoping to retire in a year gets caught up in helping citizens that need him. When the cover says Christian fiction thriller, that is very true! This policeman has a special needs daughter and you will fall in love with her. She is so loving. If you are not a Christian I think you would still enjoy this book. Good characters and storyline. I recommend this book!

★★★★★ If you want to read a very intense and moving Christian work of fiction then this is the book for you.
Detective Deetz is working around the clock to find the kidnapped young woman. Things escalate when his own teenage daughter is also kidnapped. The whole PD has to act quickly to find the two kidnapped victims and to find the connection.
You won't be disappointed if you want to read a real to life crime story.

★★★★★ I picked this up on a whim while we were on vacation . . . I had no idea it was Christian fiction when I bought it. Nevertheless, it’s a story that moves quickly and held my interest such that I finished it in a few hours. I then bought the rest of the books in the series. They are all enjoyable, and sometimes that’s all I want, is to be entertained. This book will not challenge you intellectually, but it will give you an uplifting story.
